Meditation is the act of quieting your mind to be in the present moment. Giving you a sense of calm, peace and balance. Carve out 10 minutes each morning to sit still.
It's an important practice to first identify the things that bring you joy and then to actively seek them throughout the day. This can be anything from grabbing your favourite coffee to calling a good friend. Make time for these wellness breaks throughout the day.
Spending time in green spaces or bringing nature into your everyday life can benefit both your mental & physical wellbeing. It can lower blood pressure and stress and take your mind from overdrive to clarity. Consider opportunities in your day where you can go outside. Maybe on a lunch break or organise a walk with friends on the weekend.
We all have that inner voice that we think we cannot control but, with some work, we can start to retrain our thoughts. The first step is to catch yourself in the act. Notice when your mind is wondering and look at ways to correct it by asking if that thought is or isn't serving you.
We are more connected to others than ever before but this comes at the cost of connectedness to self. To reduce your social consumption try moving some apps to the second page of your mobile and turning off notifications during certain times. This will stop you from reaching for your phone and make you less obtainable when you are focusing on other tasks.
Goal-setting puts growth, awareness, and progress at the core of your wellbeing. By bringing awareness to your values and what you want to achieve you will have more clarity and focus on the things that truly matter to you. This practice will also help you to manage trade-offs more effectively and reduce overwhelm.
This workbook is designed to help you understand your life and yourself better, so you can make decisions that will move you forward to a life of Freedom and Joy.
